Flight of Fancy with Slipstream

Futurecity were appointed by London Heathrow Airport to curate an artwork for the Covered Court of the new Terminal 2 building, due to open in 2014. They managed an international competition, short-listing five world-class artists and the commission was awarded to Richard Wilson RA for his ambitious vision: Slipstream.

The final design will physically integrate with the architecture of the new Terminal 2 building and be suspended from four roof-supporting columns.
